The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed Monday that there are 521 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 134,025.

There are 7,673 total deaths attributed to COVID-19. No new deaths were reported.

In nursing and personal care homes, there are 21,034 resident cases of COVID-19, and 4,498 cases among employees, for a total of 25,532 at 929 distinct facilities in 61 counties. Out of our total deaths, 5,189 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.

Approximately 9,627 of our total cases are among health care workers.

Locally, Carbon County remains level with 422 positives and 28 deaths.

Lehigh County has 5,204 cases, an increase of eight cases. There are 343 deaths.

Luzerne County has 3,778 cases, an increase of seven cases. There are 188 deaths.

Monroe County is reporting 1,714 cases, an increase of two cases, and 127 deaths.

Northampton has 4,117 cases, an increase of three cases. There are 300 deaths.

Schuylkill County has 987 cases, an increase of two cases, with 51 deaths.
