At a special Weatherly Area School Board meeting on Aug. 26, the board voted to proceed with fall sports. Coaches and salaries were approved and pro-rated based on the season start date.

Approved were:

• Girls soccer - Head coach Will Bartel ($3,375); assistant coach Rich Jones ($925); volunteer coach Nicole Snyder,.

• Golf - Head coach Brian Kaminski ($2,375); volunteer coach Mike Nemshick; volunteer coach Ashton Gerhard.

• Volleyball - Head coach Nicole Hinkle ($1,875). assistant coach Teresa Hartz ($975); volunteer coach Alexis Hartz.

• Cross country - Head coach Ryan Kately ($1,800).

* Boys soccer - Head coach Kevin Kennedy (no salary); assistant coach Tiana Genetti ($900 salary). volunteer coach Connie Derr; volunteer coach Elijah Derr.

Kennedy declined his salary for this season, recognizing how difficult school finances are during these times. His decision was greatly appreciated by the board.
