Credit defaults

Crash suit

Michael Wildoner, 718 North St., Jim Thorpe, filed a civil action seeking damages against Kacey Spence and a minor individual, both of 197 Gower Road, Albrightsville, stemming from an automobile crash.

The suit states on Feb. 19, at 7:27 a.m., the plaintiff was operating a vehicle northbound on North Street, Jim Thorpe, when the juvenile defendant was driving a vehicle owned by Spence, southbound. The suit alleges that the juvenile suddenly and without warning, attempted to turn left onto Olympian Drive and struck the plaintiff’s vehicle. The suit says as a result the plaintiff suffered “serious and permanent” injuries which are detailed in the suit.

Sought are damages in an amount less than $50,000.

Two actions

First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, 2752 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, filed two civil actions seeking damages.

The first action names Elizabeth Cooper, 12 W. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, as the defendant. The suit alleges she defaulted on a motor vehicle installment sale contract over the purchase of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. Sought is $12,235.24 plus interest, costs and fees.

The second action names Emily Marie Williams, 343 S. 3rd St., Lehighton, as defendant. The suit alleges she defaulted on a checking and savings account agreement. Sought is $3,283.84 plus interest, costs and fees.
