A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday afternoon when involved in a crash along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. as the biker was traveling north in the passing lane at the 133.1 mile marker. He hit the rear of a sport utility vehicle, shattering the rear window. The victim was treated at the scene then flown by helicopter to the Geisinger trauma center in Danville. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
