August 18, 1943 - Joe “Beansy” Bincarowsky stars on the mound and in the batter’s box in leading Nesquehoning to a convincing 10-1 Panther Valley League victory over Summit Hill. Bincarowsky allows seven hits in pitching all nine innings, and collects two hits at the plate while scoring a pair of runs. Tony Stianchi collects three hits - a single, double and triple - with John “Bambi” Stianchi also adding three hits in the 14-hit attack. The Hillers receive a pair of hits from Billy Boyle.
