State police at Lehighton - crashes

Pennsylvania State Police at Lehighton reported on the following crashes:

• Two vehicles were damaged and required towing from the scene of a collision on July 25 at the intersection of Route 209 and Horseshoe Drive in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks investigated and said four people were involved, including Simon Tomaszewski, Kirsten Levan, Kristen Bryfogle and Angelo Deluzio. None were injured, police said.

They said the crash occurred when one of the vehicles slowed down and was struck by the second vehicle.

• Police said a man had minor injuries and was transported to the St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton Campus, after a one-vehicle crash at 10 p.m. July 25 on Stagecoach Road in Towamensing Township.

Police said Matthew Levy was driving the vehicle when it left the road at 465 Stagecoach Road and traveled down an embankment.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
