More St. Luke’s University Health Network offices are headed to Monroe County.
Joe Bennett, managing partner of Bennett Family Properties LLC, said two physicians’ offices will be located at 3361 Route 611 in Bartonsville.
Bennett said the cost was $1.31 million, and added the building currently houses the office of Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge, along with DaVita Pocono Home Training.
“We have acquired a building which has two excellent tenants,” Bennett said. “We are excited to be adding an office for St. Luke’s University Health Network, which will host two physicians’ offices.”
Bennett said work is already underway.
“We are making signage and parking lot improvements to the property, and we’ll look forward to the occupancy in late September,” he said. “We will be increasing visibility of the property with landscaping in the front and new lot lighting, employing all local contractors from Carbon County, with the lighting being done by Frable & Son (Electrical Services).”
Bennett said his business has established its footprint in the county.
“We’ve owned several properties in Monroe County, and appreciate the opportunity to work with the county, as well as Pocono Township,” he said, adding that they presently have five properties in Monroe.
“We realize that Monroe County is dramatically changing due to the influx of folks from New York and New Jersey who can work from their seasonal homes, therefore, the increased need for medical care and other types of services.”
