The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of midnight that there are 1,120 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 109,384.
Allegheny County is reporting an increase of 119 cases, Philadelphia County is reporting an increase of 175 cases and Delaware County is reporting an increase of 118 cases.
The number of tests administered within the last seven days between July 21 and July 27 is 162,937 with 6,526 positive cases. There were 24,428 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., July 27. These results represent the total number of tests administered.
There are 7,146 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 24 new deaths reported.
Carbon County is reporting two additional cases for a total of 354. Deaths remain at 28.
In Lehigh County, there are 45 new cases for a total of 4,733. Deaths remain at 335.
Luzerne County is reporting 3,191 cases, an increase of 35. Deaths remain at 183.
In Monroe there are five new cases, bringing the total to 1,562. Deaths remain at 122.
In Northampton County, 22 new cases bring the total to 3,780. Deaths remain at 289.
In Schuylkill County, there are 11 new cases. The total is 860, with 49 deaths.
