State police at Lehighton are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a bicycle.

Troopers said the incident occurred at 12:53 p.m. along Route 209 in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said a vehicle was operated eastbound when it struck the passenger side minor of a bicycle being operated by a 16-year-old male from Palmerton. After impact the driver fled the scene.

The teen was not injured.
