George and Joanne Rice of Jim Thorpe are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

Mrs. Rice is the former Joanne Louise Ritter, daughter of the late Dorothy and Norman.

Mr. Rice is the son of the late Rachel and John Rice.

They were married on July 26, 1975.

They have one daughter, Tammy, wife of Wayne F. Parent Jr. of Jim Thorpe. They also have a grandson, Shane, married to Cassandra; and a great-granddaughter Mattison Rose.
