A Franklin Township couple may run an automobile sales and repair facility that specializes in off-road custom Jeep sales and services.

The township’s zoning hearing board on Thursday unanimously agreed to grant a request for a variance to Ridge 41 LLC, to permit the operation at 795 Main Road.

Zoning board member Frederick Bresswein said the board granted the variance to owner Alex Cormier, who owns the property with his girlfriend, Jillian Watto, for the startup.

As part of their approval, Bresswein said the board placed several minor restrictions.

Bresswein said there was no opposition expressed from the public toward the plan.
