Cassandra Rehnert of Lehighton participated as a member of the Allied Club while studying at Alvernia University during the 2019-20 school year:

Allied Club provides an inclusive and educational environment for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The organization will follow the tradition exemplified in “Always Our Children,” that God loves every person as a unique individual. Through education and community events, this organization will support all members of Alvernia University and deter any discriminatory actions against any member of the community.
