State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a phone scam involving a 28-year-old woman from Emmaus that occurred at a location along Suederg Road in Pine Grove Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the victim received a phone call from someone portraying himself as a Drug Enforcement Agency agent. The victim provided the caller with her personal financial information and $2,000 in Target gift cards.
