Center Stage Theatre at the Tamaqua Arts Center will present “Almost, Maine” in a limited social distancing event on July 18 and 19.

Showtimes for both days are 2 and 7 p.m. There will be both in-person seating options, as well as livestreaming options.

“Almost, Maine” is a play about nine amiably absurdist vignettes about love, with a touch of good-natured magic realism … witty, romantic, unsentimental.

Directed by Adriane Drum and staring nine 2020 graduates of Tamaqua Area High School, the play is a fundraiser for the Tamaqua High School Drama Club.

Tickets for both in-person and virtual showings are $10 and can be purchased at www.tamaquaarts.org by clicking on either in-person or online streaming ticket boxes.

There are only 78 tickets available for in-person seating for each show. Virtual ticket holders will receive a Zoom link via email.
