A 37-year-old Effort resident is the victim of a theft by deception/wire fraud incident.

State police at Fern Ridge said they were summoned at noon June 11 to Woodcrest Avenue and Little Twig Road in Chestnuthill Township. They were informed that someone stole the woman’s Eppicard account valued at $1,348.
