State police at Hazleton reported on the following charges by troopers in Carbon County.

• Bernadette Shickora, 69, of Tresckow, Banks Township, is facing a charge of simple assault - bodily injury, for an incident that occurred on July 4 at 5:14 p.m. in the area of 20 S. Birch St., Banks Township. Troopers said Shickora pulled a 34-year-old Tresckow woman, out of a stopped vehicle and threw her to the ground, causing a bloody nose. She then smashed the victim’s phone on the pavement. Charges were filed.

• Scott Eroh, 47, of Beaver Meadows, is facing a charge of harassment - physical contact, for an incident on July 4 about 7 p.m. along Berwick Street in Banks Township. An investigation revealed that Eroh pulled the hair and struck a 50-year-old woman from Beaver Meadows with a closed fist. Charges were filed.
