After 22 years of bringing The Blues to their family farm in Nescopeck, Briggs Farm Blues Festival has been rescheduled to July 8, 9 and 10, 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The festival intends to host the same lineup scheduled for 2020 including headliners such as Ana Popovic, The Campbell Brothers, Victor Wainwright and Mac Arnold.
The decision to reschedule was not taken lightly.
As founder Richard Briggs said, “People come here year after year … they plan their summers around it.”
The Briggs family and festival team watched the situation closely for months and decided to reschedule after not seeing the progress in conditions that would have facilitated a safe and comfortable festival experience for their audience.
While disappointed to not be gathering this July, the Briggs team will be putting their efforts toward a big celebration of life, friendship and The Blues for 2021.
Work will continue on the construction of a new, larger Main Stage, updated camping areas, and a redesigned layout to accommodate more food and arts vendors.
All ticket and campsite purchases will be honored for 2021. Ticket information can be found on the Briggs Farm Blues Festival website at briggsfarm.com.
