Police report on Schuylkill incidents
State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents at Schuylkill County locations.
• On June 15 troopers responded to a residence along South Spencer Street in West Mahanoy Township. On scene troopers learned that a 45-year-old woman and Robert Leibowitz, 57, had a verbal argument that turned physical when he pushed the female off the porch of the home.
A charge of harassment - physical contact, is pending completion of the investigation, troopers said.
• On June 16 troopers responded to West Main Street in Girardville for a report of threats being made. On scene troopers learned a 17-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were involved in an argument. The woman took possession of a knife and threatened the man.
• Troopers said the charges against the juvenile will be handled by the county juvenile probation office.
A neighbors’ dispute was investigated at 6:03 p.m. June 17. Troopers responded to Valley Street, New Philadelphia, for a report of a harassment incident. On scene troopers learned two neighbors, a 52-year-old woman, and Denise Hossler, 55, had a dispute. The victim reported Hossler confronted her on her front porch and then pushed her outdoor furniture across the porch and “threw a smile you’re on camera sign” directly at the victim.
Hossler was charged with harassment.
• On June 17 troopers responded to the 1000 block of Brock Street, in Ashland, for several calls about an erratic female. On scene troopers located Sarah Wytovich, 38, of Ashland, on a porch inside the front storm door of the residence. Wytovich immediately screamed when contact was attempted. She was disheveled, covered in sweat and shaking uncontrollably. Wytovich admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine. She was escorted back to her residence and instructed to remain inside.
She was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
• On June 16 troopers conducted a traffic stop along East Lloyd and North White streets, in Shenandoah, about 7:40 a.m. The 27-year-old female driver from Girardville showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. The driver and her 35-year-old male passenger, also from Girardville, both were in possession of drug paraphernalia. Troopers declined to identify the suspect. Charges are pending, troopers said.
• On June 16 at 12:35 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop along Skyline Drive at Route 61 in Blythe Township. During the stop it was determined the 45-year-old male driver and 20-year-old male passenger, both from Saint Clair, were in possession of controlled substances. Troopers declined to identify the suspects. Charges are pending.
