Totally unacceptable

George Floyd’s killing and others like it are totally unacceptable in our society regardless of skin color or political party.

The failure of leadership by the mayors and governors allowed meaningful protests to be rerouted to national anarchy, led by Antifa and criminals.

The ideology of Antifa is at its center of Marxism-Leninism. The utilization of violence against targets such as stores - capitalism; monuments - history; and churches - God. Many analysts credit the movement’s support and sympathy from liberal left American political and media establishment.

Minnesota was the catalyst for anarchy. Keith Ellison, Minnesota Attorney General, in 2006 accepted contributions for his campaign from individuals associated with CAIR (a group with deep ties to terrorism); 2018 while Deputy General of the DNC pasted a photo of an Antifa manual with a statement “this should strike fear in the heart of @real DonalDTrump”; And when approached by the media, replied “it was a joke.”

Then there is Jane Fonda, who showed up at an interview on CNN in a black sweater and beret, an obvious nod to the uniform of the Black Panthers Party, and said she believed that the protests weren’t nearly as violent as the media has made them out to be. She is one of the celebrities who signed a letter to defund police and military.

I am a Democrat and Vietnam vet with 3 Purples, and 2 Bronze Stars, one with valor. Fonda came to Vietnam and was photographed seated on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun looking like she was shooting down American planes and made broadcasts on radio Hanoi demoralizing our troops. When then POW Michael Benge (a civilian adviser) met with her to tell that the POWS were not lying about their torture or treatment and stop telling the media that their treatment was “humane and lenient” she never retracted her statement. Afterward he was tortured and caned.

By the grace of God I survived the war and now I am watching one on TV which is destroying our country. God is the rock on which this nation was founded and I believe that when the need is the greatest and believers are oppressed, God will always come to our aid. So pray.
