State police at Lehighton have released details about a motorcycle crash on Route 248 on Saturday.

State police at Lehighton said Jack F. Cook, 68, of Allentown, was eastbound at 2:37 p.m. Saturday on Route 248 when his bike struck debris on the road.

He lost control of the bike and it turned over onto its left side.

Troopers said Cook suffered suspected serious injuries and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, by Lehighton ambulance.
