The Pennsylvania primary elections are coming up on June 2. Some of us will be going to the polls and many of us will be voting by mail. In Carbon County, Kara Scott, Bowmanstown Borough Council member, is running a write-in campaign to be the Democratic nominee for the 122nd Pennsylvania House seat.

Kara has a long history of engagement and activism in local government and would be a trusted public servant for the 122nd District. I feel it’s important to have a choice for each office in the November general election, so I strongly urge Democrats to write in her name on the primary ballot, being careful to spell Kara with a K.
