The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of midnight that there are 511 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 71,926.

There are 5,555 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 18 new deaths from Saturday.

Carbon County’s numbers remained the same: 235 cases and 24 deaths.

Lehigh County has an additional 18 cases for a total of 3,765. Deaths remain at 228.

Monroe County added one cases and now has a total of 1,319. Monroe’s death total remained level at 101.

The number of positive cases in Northampton County rose by 21 to 3,083. Northampton deaths remain at 210.

Schuylkill County added eight positive cases and now has 631. Schuylkill deaths remain at 34.

In Luzerne County, there are 12 additional positive cases, bringing the total to 2,736. There were also two additional deaths, bringing the total to 149.
