John L. Faust, 472 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, received the Lamb Award, one of Boy Scouting’s most distinguished awards, during services yesterday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Towamensing.
Faust is a member of the Palmerton Middle School faculty and is very active in scouting, having served as district commissioner of the Kittatinny District of the Lehigh Boy Scout Council and a member of the Camp Trexler staff for the past 13 years. He has been active in scouting for the past 25 years and attained Eagle Scout status in 1947.
He citation was read by Joseph Sweitzer and the award winner’s qualifications were read by Irvin George Jr., church lay reader.
