State police are continuing their investigation into the fatal shooting of a 2-year-old boy in East Penn Township. The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. Sunday at his home along Laurel Springs Road. Lehighton paramedics rushed the victim to the St. Luke’s Hospital Lehighton campus, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
