State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an attempted scam that happened along Seneca Road in Penn Forest Township.

Police said a 67-year-old Albrightsville man reported the incident at 12:37 p.m. May 1, telling them a suspect attempted to scam him on Craig’s List.
