Fern Ridge State Police report on crashes

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes:

• The driver of a blue sports utility vehicle involved in a crash at 4:04 p.m. April 25 at the intersection of Hawk Terrace and Sugar Hollow roads in Chestnuthill Township left the scene.

Police said Jessica Brown, 33, of Effort, was driving a 2007 Toyota Rav4, westbound on Sugar Hollow Road as the SUV was approaching a stop sign southbound on Hawk Terrace Road. Police said the SUV rolled through the intersection and was struck on the left corner by the Rav4. The SUV continued south on White Church Road.

Police said the Rav4 was able to be driven from the scene. Brown was uninjured.

• Ashlie B. Lowry, 29, of Saylorsburg was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 1:14 p.m. May 3 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that hit a utility pole. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Lowry was cited.
