The Carbon County Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation took time out last week to pay tribute to Warren H. Holmes, administrator of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, and the hospital’s board of directors during a dinner staged at the Viennese Villa, Coaldale.

Holmes and Albert U. Koch, chairman of the hospital’s board, accepted plaques of appreciation from Michael Slivka, the local chapter’s first president.

Mary Ellen Poe, current president, said Holmes and the board were honored “for continued service and for providing the hospital facilities to hold the arthritis clinic at the hospital every other month.
