An arrest was made in an incident involving the discharge of a gun in Schuylkill County.

On April 30 at 12:33 a.m. troopers from the Schuylkill Haven barracks were dispatched to a residence in the area of 6 Blue Mountain Heights, Wayne Township, for a report of shots fired. On scene a 36-year-old man from Summit Station, reported he observed a suspicious vehicle outside his home, a silver Chevrolet Cruze. He also reported seeing two women walking toward the vehicle and also observed a muzzle flash and heard a gunshot. He said he believed the gunshot was fired in his direction and that of the two women. The two women then entered the Cruze and left.

As a result of an investigation Justin Wolfe, 28, of Schuylkill Haven, has been charged with simple assault - fear by physical menace.
