A Tamaqua man has been caught on camera lingering outside of and looking into homes in town.

After reviewing footage on her Ring Doorbell camera, Tamaqua resident Kristen Zweisdak saw a man on her porch looking inside on multiple occasions.

“The first one, we knew about,” Zweisdak said. “April 15, we were actually laying in bed and we pulled it live. But we just thought, because it was only for a second, oh he has the wrong house and that he realized and left. And then on this past Saturday, when we saw the footage and how long he was here - and that he was taking pictures - that’s when we went back through everything. That’s when we found out about Friday as well.”

Zweisdak shared her story and footage on the Tamaqua Public Forum and received many responses.

“There’s more than just us,” Zweisdak said. “After we made this public, everybody was like ‘Oh my god, that was the guy and we blew it off.’ I don’t know what the deal is, but I’m pretty sure he was taking pictures of my daughter. He didn’t start coming around my house, we’re renovating it right now, until I put kids toys out.”

Tamaqua Police are investigating.
