State police at Fern Ridge were summoned to investigate a one-vehicle crash at 2:36 p.m. April 26 on Route 534 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Evan S. Darling, 30, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty southbound when it crossed the northbound lane and struck a guide rail. Police said Darling gathered the pieces of the damaged vehicle and left the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Police said Darling was uninjured. He was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
