Two vehicle stops in Schuylkill County led to the arrest of the drivers on drug charges.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said at 3:59 p.m. on April 16 a 1998 GMC Jimmy SUV was stopped along North Sillyman Street, at Main Street, in Cressona borough. While at the stop the driver, identified as Kyle Putalavage, 31, of Port Carbon, was found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was also found to be driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed.

On April 19 about 8:23 p.m. a 2006 Mazda was stopped for an equipment violation along Seven Stars Road at Route 61 in North Manheim Township. The driver, identified as Daniel Kostenbauder, 32, of Wyndmoor, Montgomery County, was found to have marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed.
