After McAdoo police responded to an incident to assist emergency medical services personnel at 12:40 p.m. Feb. 28, they ended by arresting a Hazle Township woman on drug charges.

Tara Skitzki, 29, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they assisted EMS at a North Hancock Street site, where a check of Skitzki’s pockets resulted in police recovering five wax packets with suspected heroin in them.
