A Northampton County woman has been charged with stealing a truck in Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville said the incident was reported at 1:23 a.m. April 7.

Troopers responded to the Country Inn and Suites, in Cass Township, for a report of a theft of a 2016 Ford F-150 truck owned by a Burlington, New Jersey, resident.

The truck was recovered in Allentown.

Troopers said Desiree Carlin, 28, of Easton, was taken into custody by Allentown city police and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
