Three members of the former Beaver Meadows Municipal Authority have been ordered to pay the borough more than $5,500 for unauthorized compensation they received for attending authority meetings.
The State Ethics Commission ruled the repayment because the three participated in increasing pay for authority members without borough council’s authority.
Ruth Donald was ordered to repay $2,660; William Hines, $810; and Stephen Delman, $2,410.
Previously, members Mark Moyer and Andrew Rusnock were ordered to pay $2,260 and $1,940, respectively.
The borough council disbanded the authority in September 1999.
