Over $4,000 worth of equipment has been stolen from a PPL site in Monroe County.
State police at Lehighton said a PPL fenced-in utility station located near Interchange and Mill Pond roads in Polk Township, was entered sometime between Monday at 3:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 7:27 a.m.
Once inside the area, troopers said the unknown criminals removed tools and electronics from unlocked vehicles. There was no property damage.
The value of equipment stolen was $4,550.
