State police at Frackville are investigating a cruelty to animals incident at a Schuylkill County location.

On April 2 at 9:20 a.m. troopers responded a home on the 200 block of Main Street in Girardville, for a house check. On scene troopers found about 18 skeletons of chickens. They were found on an enclosed back porch of the residence.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
