A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.
Mountain Laurel Resort & Spa, White Haven, was cited for during the period of Dec. 14, 2019, and Jan. 13, failed to notify the liquor board within 15 days of a change of manager.
This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
