State Police at Schuylkill Haven
State police at Schuylkill Haven release information on recent incidents:
• Two Schuylkill County drivers are facing driving under the influence charges in separate incidents.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Duane Krammes, 45, of Orwigsburg, was stopped driving a 2014 Ford F350 truck at 11:21 p.m. on March 7 along Route 61 at Red Church Road, in West Brunswick Township, for a traffic violation. At the stop Krammes displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, for a blood draw. The DUI count is pending the test results.
• On March 9 at 7:50 p.m. Charles Cox, 40, of Auburn, was stopped in a 2014 Ford Fusion along Seven Stars Road at West Second Mountain Road, in North Manheim Township, after police received numerous calls of an erratic driver in a Ford vehicle. At the stop Cox showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and transported to the LVH East, for a blood draw. The DUI charge is pending test results.
• A Schuylkill County driver is facing a driving under the influence charge following a one-vehicle crash that was reported at 8:51 p.m. on Feb. 17 along Skyline Drive South, in Blythe Township.
State police at Frackville said Eric Weeks, 29, of Morea, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz when it left the road and crashed. Weeks appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, troopers said. Charges are pending.
• A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on March 6 at 12:53 a.m.
State police at Hazleton said Jeremy Baer, 30, of McAdoo, was observed at the intersection of South Street and Foster Avenue, in Foster Township, Luzerne County. A check revealed he had an active warrant for his arrest out of Luzerne County.
While being taken into custody troopers found he had methamphetamine and fentanyl. Troopers said he will be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
