Coroner Robert Miller said state police at Lehighton are investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy from Nesquehoning.

The boy was unresponsive at his home on Allen Street and was taken to St. Luke’s Miners campus, where he was pronounced dead Tuesday night.

An autopsy was conducted Friday. Results will take several weeks.

Miller said there were no signs of trauma.
