No one was injured during a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Monroe County.

State police at Stroudsburg said the incident occurred at 11:30 a.m. as both a 2008 Nissan Altima and a 2003 Freightliner were traveling north on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

The Altima, operated by Mohamed Abdalla, 18, of Whitehall, attempted to exit a ramp at an excessive speed. It struck the guiderail and was then hit by the Freightliner driven by Adnan Makul, 38, of Hummelstown. The Altima sustained disabling damage while the Freightliner sustained minor damage.

The Altima was towed from the scene by Karl’s Towing.
