Holy Trinity Lutheran

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton will hold worship service and Sunday school at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. Adult Sunday school is at 9 a.m. The annual meeting will be held following the worship service. The Thrift Shop is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from noon to 3:30 p.m. Bible study is at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 30.

Senior Center

The Palmerton Senior Center, 501 Delaware Ave., (ambulance building), Palmerton serves lunch daily at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. For lunch reservations, call the day before by 9:30 a.m. Activities include pinochle, penny games and bingo. For information or to reserve lunch, call 610-826-4505.

Faith Alive Church

Sunday school: Every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages.

Special combined service: Jan. 26, 10 a.m. followed by a churchwide vision/planning meeting for all members and faithful attendees to discuss the future of Faith Alive.

Prayer & praise service: Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Read and Learn God’s word.

Events Committee: Birthday Bash on Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Must sign up to attend this fun evening of fellowship.

Volunteers are needed to help with video projection and sound tech, website help, and puppeteers to be part of “The God Squad” puppet ministry.

Persian donut sale

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), is taking orders for Persian donuts.

Pancake breakfast

Bowmanstown Area Residents Connected will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The breakfast will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 500 Ore St., Bowmanstown.

Menu includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, juice and milk. Prices will be for adults and children 4 to 11. Free for ages 3 and under.
