The driver of a tractor-trailer failed to navigate a turn on Locust streets off of Angelini Avenue, at the entrance to CVS in Nesquehoning Thursday morning and severed a utility police.
The male driver was taking his commercial driver’s license test when he took the turn too sharp. Nesquehoning police said the crash happened at 11:30 a.m.
Charges are pending against the driver and the company. When police arrived they saw that the tractor trailer was extending out into the roadway and requested Nesquehoning fire police for traffic control.
Due to lack of manpower, the New Columbus fire company responded. As of 10 p.m., PPL was still working on the poll.
