November 13, 2010 — Jake Kern and Cody Remaley both top 100 yards rushing as Northern Lehigh pulls away from Jim Thorpe for a 34-19 victory in a District 11 Class 2A semifinal game. Kern carries 11 times for 125 yards and a touchdown, while Remaley adds 101 yards on 23 attempts. Kern also catches a 5-yard scoring pass from Dylan Hofmann, who adds a 43-yard touchdown run and a 24-yard TD toss to Matt Gill. The winners, coached by Joe Tout, also force three turnovers on defense. For the Olympians, Terry Moll throws two touchdown passes and also runs for a score.
