A number of area volleyball players have been named to their respective District 11 all-star teams.

Each class selects its all-stars in different ways, some by naming first teams, second teams, etc. while others just announce an all-star list.

Panther Valley had four players selected to the Class 2A list. Seniors Jenna Dubosky and Olivia Dacey, and juniors Erika Dubosky and Alexis Cooper all gained recognition. In addition to PV, Jim Thorpe had juniors Abbey McGinley and Brandy Montemuro make the 2A squad.

Marian was represented on the 1A all-star team by four players. Junior Alivia Karchner received First Team honors, while seniors Macie Mazalusky and Lacey Blasko, and sophomore Ashlyn Klitsch made the Second Team.

Lehighton’s duo of junior Sophia Salerno and sophomore Alyssa Frey were both named to the Class 3A Third Team.

In Class 4A, Pleasant Valley senior Cameron Caffrey was an Honorable Mention selection.
