Rachael Hoffmeier, Carbon County home economist, Ray Reitz and Jerry Berkey, county farm agent and assistant, respectively, presided over the annual Carbon 4-H achievement night program held at the Franklin Township Elementary School.

Carol Ann Raynock, Weatherly R.2, and Roy Christman, Lehighton R.3, were presented trophies for their outstanding 4-H work during the year.

Others honored were Mrs. Leon Schock, Lehighton R.4, 10-year leadership pin, and Miss Raynock, Christman, Brent Semmel, Lehighton R.1, and Carol Hamm, Lehighton R.3, five-year junior leadership pins.
