Large amount of groceries stolen

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

On Sept. 7 a retail theft occurred at Kinsley’s ShopRite in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, at 5:30 p.m. Three suspects left the store with two shopping carts full of grocery items without paying for the items. The total value of the items was set at $361.08.

As a result of an investigation, Jennifer Royall, 24, Dylan Hancock, 25, both of Saylorsburg, and Miranda Hancock, 24, of Towamensing Township, were charged with retail theft.

Troopers said on Sept. 27 Royall and Miranda Hancock then returned to the store and took a large amount of grocery items from the store, with a value of $1,037.07. The two were charged with retail theft for that incident.
