State police at Frackville reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at 4:33 p.m. on Friday along Route 54 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Karla M. Herring, 47, of Barnesville, was stopped facing east allowing a vehicle in front of her to turn left. Maria E. Nikolaou, 28, of Barnesville, was eastbound and failed to stop. The front of her 2015 Mazda the rear of Herring’s 2018 Mazda. After impact Herring’s vehicle went off the road and hit a mailbox.

No one was injured. Both vehicles were towed.

Troopers cited Nikolaou for following too closely.
