Pete Palladino to record live album in JT

Pete Palladino, the former lead singer of NEPA rockers The Badlees, will be recording a live solo record with the help of his former band mates Jeff Feltenberger and Dustin Douglas and friends like drummer Tommy Smallcomb, bassist Matt “the Dane “ Gabriel at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe on Oct. 13.

There are 36 VIP seats and each is invited to the sound check at 4 p.m. that afternoon; followed by a meet-and-greet afterward with Palladino. The main show will take place at 7 p.m.

Palladino’s solo project “The Circa 68” will feature original songs penned by him and longtime collaborator Mike Naydock.

Palladino’s Circa 68 material continues down the power pop road that has been his longtime love. This will be his second solo record and will follow up his “Sweet Siren of the Reconnected.”

Palladino, one of Pennsylvania’s most successful recording artists, is redefining what it means to be a vocalist. Over his 30-year career, including his stint with The Badlees, Palladino has built his fan base one person at a time through his dynamic performance style.
