Dimmick Memorial Library, 54 Broadway, Jim Thorpe has announced the following events will be taking place in September.

• Story time will be held every Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. in the library. The themes will be Sept. 10, Clocks/Telling Time; Sept. 17, Feelings and Emotions and Sept. 24, Imagination.

• Local Artist Showcase reception is 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday. Meet the artist for the next two months.

• Board of directors meeting is at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 in borough hall in Jim Thorpe.

• The Dimmick Lego Club will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 25.

• The Dimmick Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the library.

• The Coaltown Crafters will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12 at 119 West Broadway. All crafters welcome.

• Stop in any time throughout the month of September to view the art of Jessica Crowley. A portion of the proceeds of the show benefit the library directly.
