The Carbon County Commissioners, on Thursday, approved the following items:

• Appointed Brent Green, Lower Towamensing Township Board of Supervisors, as an elected official representative to the Carbon County Action Committee for Human Services Board of Directors.

• Approved the distribution of $20,357.59 from the City of Bethlehem to school districts and townships representing payments in lieu of taxes for 2019 on property owned by the Bethlehem Water Authority. Payments include $8,528.30 to Jim Thorpe Area School District; $5,046.86 to Palmerton Area School District; $355.34 to Penn Forest Township; $304.29 to Towamensing Township; $4.70 to Lower Towamensing Township; and $6,118.10 to Carbon County.
